Big or small, use PexSupply

Comments about 50 Gallon - 40,000 BTU ProMax Power Vent Residential Gas Water Heater:

If you live in a smaller city, local suppliers want a fortune for power vent water heters and they need to order them in. Pexsupply had a direct replacement for my 15 year old A O Smith in stock. As always, their phone staff was friendly and helpful. The new unit was delivered to my garage in the western US five days later. Installation was drop-in. The new version of the unit has better lining, electronic controls, higher efficiency and more safety.

I saved more than $1500 with PexSupply!

I am a real customer and a fan.

    Q:

IS THIS DIRECT HEATER? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GPVH AND GCV?
Asked on 3/15/2011 by tEE from YONKERS, NY

    2 answers

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The ProMax GPVH is a power vent model, meaning that it generates air from the inside and only vents outside. Standard models both vent and pull air from the outside. This difference changes related specifications on the heaters, such as energy efficiency, recovery rate, and first hour delivery.

Answered on 3/16/2011 by PexSupply Staff from NY
    • A:

this is a powervent, almost like a directvent, but the powervent has a motor on top of it, the gcv is a natural gas water heater that vents into your chimney
