Description for Acudor PA-3000-14X14

The Acudor PA-3000 Plastic Access Door is designed to provide easy access to walls and ceilings. The high impact styrene plastic with U.V. stabilizers will not fade or corrode. The door is completely removable from the frame and fits tightly with snap latches. The white finish, with textured exposed surfaces, can be left as is or painted to match the surrounding areas.
Access Door Specifications
Fits 14-3/8" x 14-3/8" Opening
Material: 1/8" high impact styrene plastic with U.V. stabilizers.
Door: Flush to frame - rounded safety corners.
Frame: One piece outside flange with 3/4" deep mounting frame.
Latch: Snap latches allow door to fit tightly within frame.
Finish: White, with textured exposed surfaces.

Please Note: This access door comes standard with a Stainless Steel Screwdriver Cam Latch. The following are also available, but must be special ordered, as they are not included: Cylinder Lock and Key, Allen Head Cam Latch and Spanner Head Cam Latch

The access panel was delivered in good condition and came in a timely manner. The only thing I would have liked to know about it is that the 12"X12 measurement was the inside dimention and the overall dimention was 14"X14". It still worked for the project I was doing, but it required alittle more cutting of my ceiling tiles to make it work. It still earns a high rating, though!

Designed to install with adhesive. Did not work with opening. Pre drilled interior frame and used drywall screws. Clean look, used wall paint to blend in, which covered well.

Purchased this to cover a hole in sheetrock that I made to access the washing machine valves. They were soldered in, and I didn't want to close up the sheetrock only to have to go in again in the future. Some day homes will be built for economical service, and have these as standard equipment. Nice unit, just what I needed.

We sheetrocked our basement to finish it off and use these access panels where we may need to turn off water pipes if there is ever a leak. These access panels are great because they lay flat and the doors are easily opened to gain access to necessary areas. Simple to install too.
