    Q:

I'm confused, are you selling the expansion tank or just a stand? The picture is of a tank with a stand. I thought the tank was welded to the stand and is all one piece. Could you clear this up for me?

    Q:

After replacing the well pump and this tank, I'm experiencing air at the faucets for several seconds then stops. The pressure holds steady after cut off of pump.Do you have any idea what's causing this air purging? It never did this with the old pump/tank set up. It was replaced due to galvanized fittings were leaking. Thank you, John

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

If the WX-201 replaced a galvanized tank, the galvanized system would have introduced air to the system (which would go to the top of the tank). The WX-201 has a diaphragm which separates the air from the water, so any air in the system would be trapped by the diaphragm. If it was an old diaphragm tank there may be a leak in the piping system that is allowing air in.
