                Does the W42 come with a built in thermostat and a recess wall mounting kit?

                  A:

                  The W42 is an empty recessed wall kit into which a K42 heater can be placed. The K units do not have any type of thermostat. They each have an aquastat which senses the water temperature (standard is on at 120°F degrees, off at 105°F). The unit can be wired to a line voltage room thermostat.
