Comments about Bosch Powerstar AE-125 Electric Tankless Water Heater:

This type of water heater is useful when smaller amounts is required and the input pressure is constant as with city water supply. The water flow sensor doesnt seem to activate at very small flow of water.

  • Bosch Powerstar AE-125 Electric Tankless Water Heater

    Q:

We recently installed this unit and are not able to get constant hot water to the kitchen or bathroom sink... only to the shower. The hot water takes a little while to arrive (not as quick as I had thought or hoped) but when it does, it only lasts for a minute or so before it turns cold. Any thoughts as to what's happening or have you heard of this happening before?

      A:

The hot water should take a few seconds to get to the fixtures with a tankless unit. As long as you are not exceeding the unit's flow capacity, there may be something wrong with the way it was installed or with the unit itself.

    Q:

with these tankless water heaters i was wondering if i can use them to heat my hot water baseboard to heat my house. it says one large application on the chart, could that be what it means. i was looking at the 125. i figured it would take the big one. could you help

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

This unit can only be used for plumbing because it can not handle the pre-heated water that would circulate through it with a baseboard system.
