    I am considering installing a new Buderus GB 142/45 boiler in a home being rennovated. The calculated heat load is 129K BTU/Hr. We plan to run 4 zones of DHW, 1 zone of radiant (using an XBlock) and an indirect hot water tank. Fuel is propane, can a NG unit be converted to LPG? Are prefabicated distribution manifolds be purchased?

      Yes, the boiler comes with a conversion kit for LP gas. The boiler does come with a pre-piped primary manifold. We also offer radiant heat manifolds

    If I install myself (20 years as a private small HVAC guy) does the Buderus Boiler retain the factory warrantee or do I need a Buderus certified guy to install to retain warrantee? If so how can I get certified?

      You should be able to install it yourself, as long as your principal occupation is the sale and installation of plumbing, heating and/or air conditioning equipment. You also must act in accordance with the Buderus Installation and Servicing Instructions and Engineering manuals for the boiler.       Buderus does not manufacture any combination wall hung units. However, the manufacturers Triangle Tube and Embassy offer these types of units.
