    I need a replacement boiler for a 100 yo house. We are converting from steam/radiators to hot water / fan convectors. We have a clay-lined chimney (that is shared with another house).

    I don't understand the differences between the Series 3 and the ES2 series. Can you summarize for me?

      ES2 models are slightly more efficient. The 85% efficiency rating is important because it's the threshold for Energy Star certification and many utility company rebates.
