This Sharkbite pressure gauge with 1/2" tee is used to measure or monitor water conditions in water distribution systems. Quick push-fit installation as temporary (reusable) or permanent device in copper, CTS CPVC and PEX plumbing systems.

                          I used the Sharkbite pressure guage to pressure test my newly installed Pex basebd heat loop. was able to use this guage to ensure that my line was airtight. Worked like a charm and was not difficult to remove. Can be reused to test other lines.

                                Used on inlet and outlet of iron filter, carbon filter, etc, to measure pressure drop to indicate
                                filter condition. The Sharkbite Tee saves a number of adapters from 3/4' PEX to 1/8' NPT on the gauge. And of course the Sharkbite connections are easy to install. I changed the supplied gauges to 0-100PSI for better resolution. It would be nice if the gauge port size was mentioned in the specs which is 1/8" NPT.

                                      Easy to install..works fine.. no leaks...The only issue is that these solderless fittings are a bit more expensive than traditional, but if you only need to install a few or in a hurry, they're great in a pinch..
