1" and 1 1/4" copper fittings are essential when piping primary / secondary loops on hi-efficiency boilers. We use them regularly.

  • Cello 1-1/4" CxCxC Tee

    Q:

    can this fitting support 20 ponds of weight? a stainless steel sleeve will be placed in the top tee section and have a 14 " steel bar holding up a 20 pound weight.

    the bottom section will be mounted on a 1.18 inch shaft-

    is the copper strong enough in this application?

      A:

      I would not trust it for that. Copper is not a strong material It might work, but a steel tee would be much better.

      A:

      if there is movement then time may deform the part.
      If you soldered peices in side it will make it stronger.
      This part will hold a lot of dead weight for a long time.
      A least 20 lbs. And up to a 100 if reinforced with pipe soldered in place
