    Q:

    1. Will this unit replace RVGP PC 6BKF?
    2. Will replacing it fix the hum I hear from it?
    3. Will replacing it fix the intermittent functioning of the old one?(from day 1 it was installed-2007, I've had to turn down thermostat, wait 30 seconds, then turn back up to make it go on...every few days or so. The "boiler guy from hell" installed it, so needless to say I never called him back.

      According to the manufacturer, you can either replace the entire unit or just the motor assembly. The GVD and the Effikal RVGP are interchangeable.

      This motor will replace all Field Controls and Effikal units. The molex plugs on the motors are the same, only the harness ends that adapt to the appliance are different.
