Get a better Grundfos Pump

This pump did not last 9 months the first time I installed it. We have other Grundfos pumps and they last a long time. The first pump was noiser then the second pump I installed. They are changing these pump for the better, I could not get this exact pump from my local supplier. They are going to a 3 speed pump for easyer starting.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"Great for geothermal systems."

I used this on an 8 ton water-water geothermal system as the buffer tank/primary pump on a primary/secondary system. Has a little more head capacity than the 26-99.

Known dependability. [...] New style electrical connections make installation quick for smaller guage wires, but you may need a junction box to reduce wire size if you have larger guage romex.

    Does it come with flange gaskets?

      A:

      Yes is has round flange gaskets. The old pump had a different flange a flat gasket. These are round and about 3/16 inch thick.
