    Can this motor lift up to 9 ft for water recirculation in solar water heating system installed in swimming pool?

      A:

      Don't use . While the pump will lift 9ft it's cast iron in an open
      system full of chemicals not to mention insufficient volume . use the
      existing pool pump with 3 port motorized valve .

      I believe it will I use one of these to circulate infloor heat up 2stories
      but u want to push the water up not suck it up so the pump should go at the
      low point in the system if possible

    Q:

    I have a water heating solar system consisting of 1,500' of 1/2' ID PVC tubing used to heat swimming pool water. The lift for the pump is 3-4 feet. I need output pressure sufficient to force the hot water into the pool circulation system. Should I install two pumps with one for input and the other for output booster? I already have one questionable older pump (UPS20-42) but wish to upgrade with new one/s.

      A:

      One pump should be sufficient, however if you want to increase the head pressure you can pipe 2 pumps back to back.
