This pump will be used in a solar water heating system of closed-loop water based drain-back design.
The high head/low flow rate and low energy consumption are ideal for this application in which initial lift is required. The closed loop design allows cast iron, but it would be even better if available in bronze or stainless.

This pump was perfect for the job requirements. I needed 25' of lift and low gpm, which this pump met with ease. It is being used with a Tagaki Jr. tankless heater and two fan coils to heat my house. [...] Great website as well.
