Replacement for UP15-18SU

This pump is billed as a replacement for the UP15-18SU. It has a new style electrical connection with push tabs and a different position for the conduit connection making it necessary to do some electrical work to get it to fit in the old -18SU spot. Most annoying is the inability to get a solid #12 wire into the push tab connection and having to rework the conduit to get a fit. After all of the work it will operate but it was and hour of my time that I really didn't have that day.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I have a 20 year+ Grundfos pump Type UM25-18SU (1650 RPM) which gets very hot when in use (solar water ?heater). I believe this model has been discontinued. Do you have a suggestion for a replacement model
