Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

Love this product. Since I have a back yard completely surrounded by lilacs, I use this product to keep the roots at bay. It works great and have been using it for years. It does not kill the vegetation on the surface ground.

Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

I use this once a year between April & May when roots are starting to grow. Last year I paid a plumber $30.00 to purchase it and put it in. Your prices are fantastic [...] Application is simple.

R-D Root Destroyer - The Best!

Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

I have been using R-D Root Destroyer for the past 6 years and have not experienced any plumbing problems since its use. You simply open the bag and pour the grandulars in the toilet, about 1/4 of the contents at a time and flush. I recommend doing this right before bed time so it has a chance to work in the pipes without any water running through.

I would professionally have it cleaned out first then use the RD2
twice a year to keep it cleaned of roots.

It could take several days for roots to absorb the decaying. The manufacturer recommends that you apply the product at times of low line usage.
