  • Install 6-10" (150-250mm) above horizontal return and 18" (450mm) above the boiler water line

              I used this product to replace my main vent on a one pipe steam heating system. The house now warms up a lot faster. Just make sure you have it mounted on a 6-inch or higher nipple which will help keep it from getting clogged with stuff from the piping.
