We live in an area with dry (low humidity) air, and hard water.
This product, in conjunction with a Honeywell humidifier (working together with our heater/air condition whole house unit) has improved our indoor air quality tremendously. Highly recommended.

I know my home has hard water. I got this to postpone the cleaning of my humidifier tank.

I've only been using this for 2 weeks now but I know it will be worth it. The only minor issue I have with it is that it has some sort of air pressure valve. It hisses when the storage tank needs to refill after filling the humidifier tank. I say this is minor since it is mounted in my laundry room.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pretty much everything you need to connect to your TrueSteam humidifier, even the PTFE tape for the single threaded connection. I would like to see a better designed base for the storage tank so it would be more stable, but when full of water it should be fine. Clear instructions, quick install.

Easy to install

Comments about Honeywell RO Water Filter with Storage Tank:

I was getting too much scale build-up in my 12 gallon truesteam humidifier so got this. Installation was easy. had some leakage at teh #1 filter but solved that with some lube to the O-rings. I would rate a five but I have to see how the tank looks at the end of the season and if the "needs cleaning" light stays off the rest of the season.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
