        Comments about Honeywell-Sparco 3/4" NPT Motorized Zone Valve w/ auxiliary switch:

        I purchased a dozen of these and just started to install them. They look well designed but one thing I didn't like was the poor machining on the inside where there was too much flashing left from the casting. It was blocking off about 15% of the flow, so I had to port and grind each valve by hand with a die grinder. I won't know how well they work until I get them wired up.

          Q:

          Does this 1" NPT measure 1" diameter on the inside threads or 1-1/4" It starts getting confusing when some people go by the I.D. and others go by the O.D.

            There is no I.D. or O.D. for thread sizes. The thread size is 1" NPT and will connect to any 1" female NPT connection.
