Replaces SV9500, SV9501 and SV9502 controls as noted below.

Ignition sequence includes timed trial for ignition.

Overview

The SmartValve System Controls provide easy field replacement of a wide range of SV9500, SV9501, SV9502 and SV9602 SmartValve System models. Gas appliance manufacturers use these models in many types of gas fired heating appliances including central furnaces, residential boilers, rooftop furnaces, commercial cooking appliances, and unit heaters. These controls provide intermittent pilot gas ignition sequencing, pilot flame sensing, and both pilot and main gas control functions in a single control. They are directly compatible with the Q3450 or Q3480 Intermittent Pilot burners used with the original controls on the appliance.

Easy to install comes with LP connection. This unit fits over 70 models of furnaces so universal is nice, so always good to have a spare it will fits any furnace I have without having to look for the exact model that needs to be replaced. Great shipping options also with a large inventory. Thanks and this is the only company I will order my parts from!!

I bought this valve to get my tempstar heater to work. I would have to go out and wiggle the wires to the old valve to get it to work. This valve was easy to replace only about half an hour. It was nice to be able to just plug the existing wires right into the valve, made for an easy swap.

Does the smart valve SV9501M2528 directly replace the SV9501M2726. if not which one does. I looked around and it looks like this should work, but one site said something about a vent fitting P N 392877. what else would i need. Thanks

  Yes. The smart valve SV9501M2528 will directly replace the SV9501M2726. SV9501M2528 is designed to replace most SV950 models, including SV9501M2726. You may need a Natural Gas to LP Conversion Kit which is Included with this product. The ignitor is not included.

  Yes. The only vent fitting on a valve is open to atmospheric pressure. If old valve has vent remove barb fitting on old valve. and put on new valve. You will need to take out vented plastic plug. All it does is change location from in cabinet to sealed combustion chamber to vent regulator.

I have a deepfrier using this smartvalve. The problem I have, the igniter will turn on the pilot, but afetr the pilot is on for a while, the burner won't turn on. is this the thermopile problem or the smartvalve problem

  If it has a smart valve,it likely is the problem. That is exactly the way my furnace acted.It would go after I shut the funace down, and after several tries it would start.
  I first thought the igniter was the problem, so I replaced it but that did not fix it.I am glad that the smart valve fixed it.

My pilot light will light and the furnace will work fine. When the house reaches tempature and the furnace shuts off, and then restarts when the tempature drops, the pilot light will not light and you can smell the propane from the exhaust. Would this be a malfunctioning smart gas valve?
