I have the prestige thermostat and this product allows you to tie into it wirelessly so that you do not have to hard wire it in. I hesitated about buying this because the TrueSteam humidifier that I was installing in my house was only a few feet from the place I had to tie it into. I bought it though just in case I needed it. I am glad. It makes wiring up the humidifier VERY easy, There are 4 connections, A,B,C, and D on the adapter and the TrueSteam has A, B, C, and D as well. You just connect them together. However, the best benefit is that the TrueSteam has a service light that flashes when something is wrong. With the wireless adapter the TrueSteam can talk to the Prestige thermostat and tell you what is wrong. Without that you would have to check on the TrueSteam every once and a while to make sure it's OK. Not only does the Prestige thermostat tell you the TrueSteam needs service but it tells you what's wrong. They are an awesome combination.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I installed this in conjunction with an HZ322 zone controller so that I could communicate with my thermostats wirelessly. If you can push a button, then you can set this up fine. Linked easy to my gateway and the iPhone app has not missed a single beat. No complaints here.

4 wires to the HZ432 & set it for wireless. Press the "Connect" button on the THM and each RF device (thermostat, outdoor thermometer, etc.) can then be 'connected' with 3 (or fewer) key-presses. It self-recovers after supply power loss.
Take thermostat cabling and shove it. This is the way to go.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      This unit alone does not qualify. However, if you replaced your heating system with a boiler with 90% or better efficiency, you can include this unit as part of the boiler install package.
