Product Overview:

  • These gas controls combine a Lite-Rite manual gas cock, safety shutoff Pilotstat assembly, millivoltage automatic valve operator, and optional gas pressure regulator. They require the use of a 750 mv Powerpile generator (thermopile). The generator, heated by the pilot burner flame, provides the electrical energy to operate the combination gas control. A millivoltage thermostat with suitable accessory controls completes the automatic control system for the heating appliance.

          Q:

          I have to tap the gas valve on my gas Burnham steam boiler, rated 105,000 btu's to make it start up sometimes...honeywell gas valve V800-A1476, 1/2"x 3/4" NPT. Does the VS820 A1047 replace it. The pilot stays lit just doesn't fire up the burners when the thermostat calls for heat.

            There is no direct replacement for the VS821A1038 gas valve. It measures 1/2" x 3/8". The manufacture suggests considering the VS820A1047 valve (which is 1/2" x 3/4") as an alternative.

            Yes, the VS820A1047 is the replacement for the VS8138A-1016. The L8148J1009 replaces the L8048B1099 as long as you are not using it with a damper.
