These work great. Just wish the tool used to tighten them was easier to use. Have to use both hands to squeeze the handles together, that does not leave you a 3rd hand free to hold the clamp in the right place. That part is frustrating.

By third connection we had this clamp down. Ratchet on tool is a must. You can ratchet a couple of teeth and still move the clamp back and forth on the tubing. With the tool connected to the clamp it makes it easy to get a the clamp into the proper position for a solid connection. Re-plumbed my whole summer house in one day - with no pex leaks. I will never use copper again.

Just place clamp over your pex pipe about 1/8" from end of pipe and crimp.Quick,easy and dependable.
For the 1" clamp you need to us the heavy duty crimp pliers.

      Yes. You would also need an H020500 adapter ( http://www.pexsupply.com/HydroPEX-H020500-1-2-PEX-x-1-2-Copper-Pipe-Brass-Adapter-3752000-p ). You will need to clamp on the PEX side and sweat on the copper.

      It is used to attach certain brands of pex to barbed copper fittings. There are fittings that use this crimp to attach pex to copper tubing.

      No! These clamps will only work on the Pex pipe. You will need to use a sharkbite type fitting or a sweat on Pex adapter to make that transition!

      The stainless steel clamps are used with the Clamp tool. They can be used with oxygen barrier PEX tubing. The other HydroPEX fittings can be used with the oxygen barrier PEX tubing as well.
