This valve is well made with clean cut threads and no burrs. Will use them in a hydronic furnace system.

Did the job

Comments about 3/4" Full Port Threaded Ball Valve:

My house is only 5 yrs. old, and the plastic cpvc ball valves are leaking out of the valve stem. So, I ordered a dozen 3/4 full port threaded ball valves, and picked up some male cpvc adapters, and on rainny days, I change out the plastic valves. I've replaced 8 so far. I wished I had gone this route in the begining. The plastic valves were junk. And the brass ball valves work great. And you can't beat the price.

Comments about Hydrovalve 2" Full Port Threaded Ball Valve:

Using this valve on a manifold system for a water business. Water pressure is at 40 p.s.i. so I don't know how it would hold up under high pressure.

  • 3/4" Full Port Threaded Ball Valve

    Q:

I'm confused about IPS vs NPT threads. Can I connect this (IPS) threaded ball valve to the DS05C1055 (NPT) threaded pressure regulator using a tapered brass nipple?

      A:

Iron Pipe Size. It's used to determine the diameter of black iron pipe. It's not straight pipe.

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

IPS and NPT threads are both tapered. You can connect the DS05C1055 valve to the 3/4" ball valve with part TBN-12CLOSE.

      A:

Yes, IPS, stands for, iron pipe size, NPT, stands for, national pipe thread, it's one and the same. The only time it wouldn't work, would be, if you had something marked with metric threads.
