The Kohler faucet we purchased through PexSupply is great. It was the perfect finishing touch for our kitchen remodeling project. I was looking through magazines and pictures of homes online for cool faucets and found the Vinnata faucet. I researched it and it sounded great so I ordered it. It is beautiful and just as pretty in person as the pictures that I saw of it. It is a statement piece and looks gorgeous in my kitchen. I bought the brushed nickel and it is just super classy and I love it!

I was looking for a substantial faucet that I wouldn't have to replace for a very long time. I found a picture in a magazine of this faucet and began looking it up on line. This faucet replaced my Franke Orient Express faucet which sells for more than double the price of this one. I had to replace the other faucet because it gave out after 8 years of service! This faucet was very easy to install and has worked well. The water pressure is great, last one was always terrible from day one. I love the easy swivel of the neck and the response of the pull out head. All in all a super great faucet that is a pleasure to use and I am sure will out live it's predecessor. The quality of the faucet is what you would expect from Kohler. I was not disappointed. This faucet comes in two sizes. We got the larger one. If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten the smaller faucet. Both look great! The height of the larger faucet causes a small problem. Water tends to splatter outside the sink a little bit when washing your hands or rinsing something off. I would think the smaller faucet may not have the same problem. But the quality and appearence are there with either faucet. And a great price.

    the spec sheet shows an oval metal base that sits on the countertop, however the pictures do not show it. Is that base required for installation?

      A:

      The metal base, known as an escutcheon, is required for installation. The product includes a 10.5" (26.7 cm) escutcheon and a 2.5" (6.4 cm) diameter escutcheon. The smaller one is used to simply cover the single hole, whereas the larger one, (depicted in the specifications), is used to cover a larger area. The choice of which to use is at your discretion.
