      This is a low voltage unit. It can be powered through its C terminal with energy from the furnace.

    I noticed that under the wiring method it can be battery or hard wired does this mean it can be powered through the relay of the contoler for the circulator & no batteries are needed ?

    Are the batteries only used for lighting up the digital display?
