Instalation was relatively easy and instruction were well written and comprehensive. Still learning to program but seems staight forward. Heating system is 2 stage heat pump with AC so not many thermostats can handle this kind of system so was glad to fine one for this price. Looking forward to saving as program adjustments are made.

Installed 3, all work fine. Straightforward easy installation. Only complaint that I have is having to program each day individually.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Merchant response: 7-Day programmability allows you to maximize customization, and once the program is set you don't have to touch it again unless you want to make a change! 5-2 Day programmable thermostats are also available and allow more general settings for weekdays and weekends.

I replaced an old mercury thermostat with this one. It works like a charm; was easy to install and very easy to program. I like that it has multiple settings for each day of the week. Its temperature accuracy is spot on: if it drops 1 degree, the thermostat clicks on stays on just for the amount of time needed to bring the temp back up to initial setting. My power bill has dropped by $100 by going digital. I definitely recommend upgrading to this thermostat.
