          In addition to the 1/2" mip threads connection ability, is it also possible to sweat 5/8 o.d. copper pipe into these valves?

            Yes, the inlet to these valves can accept either 1/2" female threads or 1/2" copper pipe (i.e. pipe with a 5/8" OD).
