    Will this work with 1/2" pex tubing? If not, what do I need to make it work?

      A:

      This kit connects to the 1" BSP thread on Mr. PEX and Rifeng radiant heat manifolds. To pressure test directly at the tubing, you'd be best off using a separate pressure gauge and Schrader valve along with connection fittings that match your those parts and any PEX tool you have.

      Not sure I completely understand your question, I have purchased and used a pressure test kit (although it did not come with all the pieces shown in the photo below)
      The pressure test kit should include the gauge with brass fitting at the base, connected to the steel "T" with the air pressure line fitting on the left side. It also included the adapter (top left) (1-1/4" NPT x EPK__(?)) to screw the "T" onto the manifold body ( which has the same size EPK fitting.) I believe the cap (lower left) was also included so the other end of the manifold could be capped in order to create a closed system to test the pressure.
      The manifolds I have used this to test was a Rifeng 7 port (1/2") manifold (stainless steel).
      I did not use the cap as I had valves on the other end along with 3/4" PEX piping going to and from the bolier main (so it was already a closed system).
      The two flow rate gauges (upper right ) were NOT inlcuded in the kit (nor were flow rate gauge retainer rings - lower right).
      This was all I needed to pressure test the loops off my Rifeng manifolds.
      And obviously, you will also need a pressurized air source (compressor, hose, air fill nozzle).

      Yes, I used it by connecting it to a manifold with 6 shark bite shutoffs.
      I was able to test all 3 or individual PEX loops for my radiant floor
      heating. The inspector liked the setup and signed off immediately on my
      PEX installation.

      This unit comes with a gauge and a fitting to connect an air hose to it in order to pressure test it.
