It works great! tried to use one of the cheaper brands from [...], returned it and spent the money for the Robert Shaw, happy I did. Easy to program, easy to read, easy to set to vacation and temporaily change settings. love it, would recommend. Was also very easy to install.

    Is this model compatible with 300-208? I would like to replace 300-208 in order to get rid of auxilary heating stage since I still have baseboard heaters and to get programmability features. Is outdoor sensor from 300-208 compatible with this thermostat?

      The Robertshaw 9701I2 thermostat is not compatible with an outdoor sensor to a different model thermostat. The compatible outdoor sensor for this thermostat is 9025I.
