          Q:

          What is minimum operating tempature of heat pump? I live in north-east and often experience sub-zero temperatures during the winter months. If the pump is operated in this range will it cause damage?

            A:

            The heat pump will not be able to meet its listed BTU rating at temperatures below 32°F. Sub-zero temperatures could certainly cause damage.
