Description for Spirotherm VJS125

The Spirovent Air Eliminator employs a patented Spirotube coalescing medium that "scrubs" the air from the system fluid. Simple to install with a straight in-line design it is available in the Junior Series for residential and light commercial applications from 1/2" to 1-1/2" pipe size. Solid brass construction, integral patented air release mechanism and a 20 year limited warranty. The Spirovent Air Eliminator is manufactured by Spirotherm and is designed for radiant heat and hydronic systems.

Great air eliminator

Use this on the supply side of the boiler before the zones. If the head ever leaks you can buy a replacement head for it,you do not have to replace the entire part. Great because you hear the removal of air instantly.

I have never used an air eliminator befor, and I did a great amount of study on the product. In all of the information I read, I did not expect the air eliminator to purge large quantities of air, only microscopic air bubbles. However it does both. I was very impressed with its preformance. Neat little product.

When i went from the old air scoops to the Spirotherm that took care of the air!! NO pun intended. To a hydronic heating professional this is the best thing since ice cream. Looks well built, and should do the job. Interesting design. Watch that you don't overheat it soldering it in. I took the top off so it wouldn't get cooked. Has an o-ring so after it cooled off, put it back together - no leaks.

My system was installed without bleeders so I had no method to remove the air in my system and had a very loud banging noise whenever the pump started to circulate the water in my enclosed hot water heating system. The air eliminator worked great to eliminate the banging and waterfall sounds. Easy installation and once installed maintenance free.
