      A:

      The best is relative to personal preference.  I think the manual said 70/79.  But because I'm cheap mine is set for 68/74.  And at about $6 a month, I'm happy and best of all my wife is happy.  Good luck.

    I have a programmable Sunstat Pro Thermostat and heating system but it has been throwing the breaker. It will stay on about 15 or 20 minutes and then kick the breaker off. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Should I contact the electrician.

      It sounds to us like a wiring issue. Either the thermostat is wired incorrectly or there is a short in the wire.
