I've used one of these for several years to control a Takagi tankless heater. It is very useful--provides basic information, displays it effectively, and works well. I just bought another Takagi tankless heaters (TK-4 OS) and got another remote controller for that one.

If you have a tankless water heater than you really do need a Remote Temperature Controller. This is something that should be part of the Flash Water Heater, or at least included with them. Until this happens - you should have the remote controller. Super fast installation on this unit and controlls the Takagi unit nicely.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Q:

    what is the max water outlet temp I can set with This controller adapted to T-KJr2 ? The dip switches on the unit is maxes at 140 degrees but it will shut off before reaching 130 degress.

      I believe this remote controller goes to 160 degrees - however why would you want this high of a temperature?? This remote controller has tons of settings so that you can easily find the right temperature for you. Just be very careful of scaulding, because the Takagi is a Super Water Heater and can heat the water higher than you need. PS. I hate those DIP switches and this controller overrides these dumb little switches - which is nice.
