Description for Tekmar 509

Control Description

    The 508 is a microprocessor-based thermostat intended for one stage heating applications. The 508 allows for one auxiliary sensor. The auxiliary sensor can be used to measure air temperature to get an average temperature for large areas. The auxiliary sensor can be used to measure slab temperature in order to limit the minimum and / or maximum allowed slab temperature. Or the auxiliary sensor can be used to display the outdoor temperature.

Very easy to setup and even easier to install. The only thing bad I can say about it is that the cycle curve infomation is kin of scarce in the the included instructions. I had to go online to get a better understanding of the heat cycles setup.

      R and C is your 24 volt power input.

      C3 gets the com, W6 get WT and R4 gets RT. Make sure the jumper is between R4 and Rh5.
