  • The 10-year warranty only applies if this MANABLOC is installed with all Viega products.

Bronze PEX Press Manablocs provide a home-run distribution manifold for the plumbing system. These Manablocs utilize either 3/8" or 1/2" distribution lines. Each Manabloc comes factory pre-assembled with color coded hot and cold ports. All Bronze PEX Press Manablocs include Press connections, drill templates, instruction guide, faceplate and port labels.

    How far should the manifold be from the hot water heater?

      A:

      The manufacturer recommends installing the MANABLOC between 1.5 and 8 feet from the water heater. The minimum distance (which extands to 3 feet if the MANABLOC is placed above the water heater) protects the unit form flue heat. The maximum recommended distance minimizes both heat loss and delivery time of hot water to fixtures.

      You cannot use the ProPEX system on the MANABLOC. You can use ProPEX at your fixtures, however.
