I had to order this as an add on to my original order as I had failed to carefully read what the MANABLOC kit contained. Having said that, PexSupply had sent it out via USPS at my request and it allowed me to finish off my install. No issues with the hook up but do make sure that the pex line is not putting pressure on the fitting. I am very pleased with the entire manifold and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Pros: Quick installation once you have all of the necessary parts. No leaks so far.
Cons: I wish I'd have known that at least 2 are required to install the Manabloc when I ordered the unit. I had to place a separate order for these, which delayed installation.

      A:

      This fitting is for the supply lines. Fittings for the distribution loop branches are included with MANABLOCs/MINIBLOCs and only come in 1/2" and 3/8" sizes.

      A:

      The MANABLOC uses supply adapters with unique thread (i.e. nothing else will work). They are only available in 3/4" and 1" sizes. Therefore, it is impossible to connect a 1/2" line directly to the MANABLOC, although you could adapt in-line near the manifold or to the threaded adapter. That said, we would not recommend feeding the MANABLOC with 1/2" because it would not give you adequate flow.

    I have a 1" PEX Crimp x MANABLOC Supply fitting. The "screw" ring does not fit over the tubing I bought at a local store. Is there no standard between manufactures of PEX tubing? How do I get this ring to fit since the tubing is alredy run?

      A:

      Standard PEX should always have the same dimensions. With this fitting, the tubing should fit over the barbed side of the fitting on the PEX side. You will need to complete the connection with a 1" crimp ring and a functional crimp tool.

      1) Slide the "screw" ring into place on the supply fitting.
      2) Slide the crimp sleeve over the PEX tubing.
      3) Slide the PEX tubing over the barbed supply fitting.
      4) Line up the crimp sleeve and crimp the sleeve in place.
      Sounds like you skipped Step 1 (??).
