I used the wrench on a 14 port manifold. Because of restricted space between ports I can't imagine anything else could work except maybe finding a 33mm box end wrench and grinding out a slot for the tubing. This wrench makes finite adjustments easy. For sure I would not try to use channel-locks. This is a situation where money is well spent.

Pros: Hand-tightening the compression nuts wasn't enough and using an adjustable wrench was awkward and sometimes scratched the plastic. The manabloc wrench allowed for the perfect torque and quick installation.

Cons: This is a very specialized tool. Once the manabloc is installed, it's going to sit on a shelf for a long time until there's a problem with a line or you add another water fixture.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
