It was lighter-duty than expected, I wish the mounting brackets were welded to the bars, must use the vertical support to the ceiling.

The curtain rod is very flimsy but serves it's purpose, for how long who knows.I had to purchase a threaded rod separately because the ceiling support only has threaded ends. once cut it would need to be rethreaded[...]

wanted to be able to shower as well as bathe in second bathroom. perfect size..it is lightweight
which was nice when husband was installing it. just wondering though how well it will hold up..so far so good !!

overall this works pretty well. the set screw for the flange was a little short, but that is easily remedied. if you are going to use a very heavy curtain you may want 2 ceiling supports. i would buy this again. i've also used the u shaped one- it was good. the only issue with both is that the ceiling support rod is threaded at both ends and is 2 feet long. if you need to cut it you have to then get it re threaded or buy a new unthreaded eyeloop from another website. overall still a much better value than paying 2-4 times as much from other places.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Yes, it has one, however , I used a decorative chain, eye bolt and two s hooks and a 1.5 inch ring from a hardware store and ran it from the front to the back wall to support it...

      Yes. But you may need to buy a separate piece of quarter twenty threaded rod. If you need to cut the support you will cut off the threaded end.
