Weil Mclain CGI Boilers are Gas fired water boiler with cast iron sections. These Weil Mclain Boilers offer direct vent capability and can be used with natural or propane gas. All units are factory-tested, and include a limited lifetime warranty on cast iron sections. The Compact design of these boilers saves valuable living space, there is no vertical draft hood and no mechanical vent damper. The boilers offer intermittent electronic ignition with standard components for easy servicing.

        I bought two CGI-4's to replace two very old natural gas boilers in a rental property. The price was great. I contracted with a local plumber & heating guy who removed my old boilers and installed these two. Installation went without a hitch. The crates came with everything that was advertised. The freight delivery was indeed free. These new boilers are in place and running today. I am extremely happy with my purchasing experience both with Pex Supply and with these CGI-4's.

          Q:

          just moved into a 60 year old house with original weil mclain furnace. the house has 3 floors; basement where furnace now stands, living room floor w kitchen and dining room and top floor with 3 bedrooms and full b/r. dont know anything about furnaces. would 74000 btu be the right size for this house. the house is all brick and has steam heat radiators

            A:

            If you have steam heat, you need to size your boiler based on the amount of radiator that you have. A boiler that is too small will not get steam to some of the radiators.
