        Comments about CGA-25 - 38,000 BTU Output Boiler, Spark Ignition (Nat Gas):

        We replaced (2) boilers in a duplex that we own with two ofthese last year. They replaced the building's two original gravity boilers that were from 1933. The tenants pay the heating bill, and the old ones were working fine, but I wanted to replace them before they broke and I was on the hook for replacing a boiler on the coldest day of winter. I also had lost a really good tenant to high heating bills. After these were installed, the tenants reported that the heating bills literally were cut in half ! The tenants are elated, and now I can sleep easy knowing that they are in good shape and won't be calling to tell me the old boiler finally cracked. I really like the motorized damper feature that closes off the flue when not in use. It helps the heat that radiates off the boiler right after it has shut down to go into the basement and heat it instead of going up the flue.

        I had my HVAC guy that holds a master boiler license do the install (moon lighting pricing). They weren't the cheapest to have installed, but I think that was probably more a function of adapting the old, 1933 pipe configuration to the smaller foot print of these new ones. There was a lot of transitioning from the old steel pipes to copper, and those connections just get kind of expensive.
