WORKS GREAT, SMOOTH TRANSACTION, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I live in an older type home , and was pleased to find Pex Supply had the exact model that was in the house and was over 30 years old , of course it was the 2010 version, amazing ...So both product and supplier for me , was a positive experience.

From start to finish this unit took only 4 1/2 hours to install. Never installing a boiler before I followed the install manual step by step with success. I went with more BTU's than needed but in the long run it's going to pay for itself. I don't feel I made a bad choice. Very happy and warm!

Unit came pre-wired for a circulator, and included much of what I needed to complete the installation. Unit works great and the folks at Pex supply provided great technical support. A great unit for the price!

Simple and traditional configuration of the CGA-4 is good for older homes that need a replacment boiler. Electronic start would have been nice/more efficient but not sure worth the increase in this level of boiler

Excellent way to save money on heating. Converted from oil forced hot air Approximately 2500.00 for heating season, to gas hot water baseboard 1300.00 for the heating season. What more can I say everyone wants to save a penny these days.

Start up is another matter and if you are unfamiliar with your boiler, I would suggest you have a qualified mechanic perform startup for you. They will inspect your boiler for water leaks and propane leaks also along with checking pump and control operation. They should also check relief valve operating properly. Good luck, you by now can appreciate how nice hot water heat is compared to forced air.

In-slab tubing will normally be low-temperature (around 130°F) to prevent the floor from getting too hot to walk on barefoot. Baseboards normally operate with water temperatures around 180°F. A full heat-loss calculation would be necessary to determine your exact BTU requirement, but our calculator can give a good estimate.
