    hi, can i use this to turn on a fan on my heat unit if i strap it to the pex pipe. just to turn on the fan.

      According to the manufacturer, you can strap it to the PEX pipe. You can find more information in this Installation Manual: http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1284661726949/39254_PROD_FILE.pdf However, it cannot be used to turn on a fan. This control may be used as a high limit
      control, low limit control, circulator control, or as a combination low limit and circulator control.
