I needed this valve to replace one that was worn out. This was an exact replacement by original manufacturer, so it was an easy install. Best of all, the price was much, much lower than I could find anywhere else, and response was fast. I have bought other things from PEX Supply, and will continue to be a customer.

Washer on wrong side, installer fixed it

Comments about White Rodgers 1-1/4" Sweat Zone Valve (Three Wire):

The delivery was prompt, the price fair and item was the expected part. Unfortunately, after my plumber installed it, there was a leak. He had to remove it from the pipework and redrain the system. The external inspection didn't indicate a problem, so he took the valve apart to discover a washer had been assembled in an incorrect location on the inside. He flipped the location, reinstalled it, and it is working great now. I'm sure there are parts that sneak past quality checks at times, so this problem (although it cost me extra plumber time) would not dissuade me from purchasing the same thing in the future should another valve go out in our heating system.

    Q:

Where can I get just the valve body? My controll is working ok but the unit is leaking.
Asked on 3/25/2012 by stan from Middlebury, IN

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The valve body by itself is part F94-0775. It has been discontinued by the manufacturer and would only be available through dealers that have remaining stock.

    Q:

I have installed a new ¾” white Rodgers valve because I had one that would not shut down. The new valve will not shut down either. Is it defective or is it a valve upstream in the circuit. I have five zone valves.

It appears that you have a wiring issue. We recommend that you check your wiring to make sure all connections are correct and there are no shorts in the wiring.

It includes the motor assembly, as well as the brass valve body.

    • VERIFIED BUYER

      A:

I have purchased and installed two of these.
It is the complete valve including the valve body, just like in the picture. The operator assembly is removable from the body by releasing a catch and twisting about an 1/8 turn. This allows the operator and the internal valve stem to be removed. There are also two screws that can be removed to change just the electrical section if you don't want to get into the water side.
