              Installed in ten minutes. The instructions contained in the manaul were easy to understand. Great picturers to make sure you had it correct when configuring the mounting bracket. I've been through three silicon carbide ignitors in the last ten years. Each has cracked. This one is much more robust in its design and I'm hoping lasts a lot longer than just a few years.

                    Comments about 120V Silicon Nitride Upgrade Kit for Conversion of silicon carbide (flat or spiral):

                    I used this to replace the burned-out Si-Carbide flat igniter in a furnace. The furnace is in a rental unit so I suspect that it is regularly abused, cycling on and off often, with clogged filter. The Upgrade promises longer life while the original only lasted a couple years.

                    Installation was very easy, everything fit perfectly, instructions are good, and it worked perfectly without any need for adjustment or modification.

                    If it lasts like it's described to, I'd definitely give it five stars! It's been working perfectly for 6-months, so far.
