Whenever you have to change direction while installing the PEX tube, I recommend to use this product: is is made of durable plastic and makes bending a breeze. Highly recommended.

I picked these up for a new job around the house and some old work I had done that didn't look real pretty. They make all the difference in the look of the finished job and also help positions the pipe in tight areas.

Part is designated for 3/8" ID lines. I am using it for 3/8" OD plastic air line. It seems to stay on the 3/8" OD material ok. We use alot of plastic air line on our corn planters here at John Deere for our pneumatic down force system. These bend supports could be helpful in our routing of the systems. Could use a larger hole on the retaining tab.

    Can I use this with the 1/2" insulated PEX? Would I have to remove the insulation?

      A:

      You can, but you would need to remove the insulation from the tubing in order for the tubing to fit into the support.
