      Yes, it is the expansion type. So as long as you have the expansion tool and plastic ring you can connect the uponor tubing to it. Just make sure you use teflon tape on the threads and thread it on before you connect the pex.

      It is, but it requires a ProPEX expansion tool. You can also use PEX crimp, clamp, push-fit, or compression fittings with AquaPEX tubing.
